Utility Consulting & Coordination Services

Submit plans to utilities with all project requirements

Submit plans to utilities with all on-site building requirements

Provide service stub for landscape meter pedestals, entry gates, monumentation lighting, etc. and include on electrical and telephone designs as applicable

Prepare time critical path schedules as requested by client for:

• Utility design and contract preparation

• Installation of dry utilities

Assist architect with gas and electric utility rooms

Review preliminary designs and submit copies to the client, team members, and other utilities for design initiation

Maintain regular flow of design information throughout the project to client, engineer, and landscape architect

Prepare and submit to client street sleeving plan, as required, together with bidding quantities

Review final designs, contracts and easement documents for accuracy and correct tariff application

Provide copies of final designs to team members for review and comment

Provide client with final utility designs and contracts, including summary of costs indicating breakdown of fees and potential refunds

Prepare eight  comprehensive bid packages for on-site/conversion work orders including a list of utility representatives, quantity take-offs, and utility specifications and designs

Schedule cable dates with the electric, telephone, and cable television companies

Schedule gas main and stub/service installation

Attend meetings with client and client's consultants as required

Process quitclaim documents to remove existing easements once facilities have been removed

Prepare a preliminary dry utility cost estimate as requested to include:

• Utility fees including deposits and refunds

• Street light costs

• Contractor charges

• Relocation fees
