Mick Moran
Mick Moran has worked in the utility planning and management industry for the last thirty-one years. Initially employed with Pacific Bell and then San Diego Gas & Electric, he was responsible for the planning, design and budgeting of new Gas & Electric system installation for commercial and residential projects. Subsequently, Mick Moran augmented his experience by managing home builder and master developer utility installation for a San Diego / Orange County based utility consulting firm. He was founder and president of Moran / Palmer for nine years until this entity was purchased by Power Plus where he worked eight years as their Division Manager. In 2007 Moran Utility Services, Inc. was formed where he is now an independent owner again.
His expertise is in over-all utility system planning, feasibility studies, cost estimating, design criteria, construction standards, bid processing and job scheduling. His portfolio encompasses large scale master planned developments, single family, multi family, commercial retail, mixed use, golf course development, transmission relocation, conversion projects and arterial roadway improvements in six different Counties.
